About This Role
As a Freelance Casting Producer, you’ll utilize your excellent interpersonal skills to find pools of dynamic individuals to appear in our content that our directors can select from. At Jubilee, we dive into a multitude of different topics and conversations. We’re looking for a star casting producer that is extremely resourceful and bold in their approach to finding people of all different niches, backgrounds, and communities. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive interview experience and is well versed in navigating sensitive subject matter in a professional and unbiased manner. They regularly reach out to micro-influencers and lower-level talent to help expand viewership to our content.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with our casting directors and showrunners on casting strategy
- Generate leads to solidify a diverse cast for our hit shows
- Interview and pitch individuals that align with the creative direction of the project currently being cast
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, micro-influencers, and top-tier talent
- Effectively manage and execute the outreach and interview process for individual shows on a project to project basis
- Optimize company casting systems (databases, forms, project managing software)
Who You Are:
- Confident in handling sensitive subjects. Our mission invites conversations with people from all different backgrounds. Applicants should be able to put personal views aside and see the humanity in everyone.
- 1-2 years of experience as a casting producer with a track record of delivering a large amount of leads sourced from outreach, along with high quality casting interviews
- Someone who is an active listener, naturally curious, and has a strong emotional IQ
- Gifted in befriending strangers and getting along with people of all walks of life
- Someone with a strong interest and understanding of the digital media landscape, trends, and behaviors
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
Compensation & Perks
- Project rate – $1700-$2000
