About This Role

We’re not looking for a traditional paid marketer. We’re looking for a strategic leader who deeply understands how Gen Z discovers products, how modern consumer apps scale, and how to engineer virality across content, social, product, and paid. We’re seeking a senior-level Growth Marketing Consultant to define and drive the marketing vision for the nectar app. This role is not about tactical execution. You’ll shape the growth strategy, set the roadmap, and guide internal teams and partners to execute effectively. You should be someone who is fluent in the language of performance, culture, product psychology, and storytelling; and knows how to blend them into a cohesive growth engine.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Define the overarching growth strategy for the nectar app across paid and social
  • Build a scalable growth framework that maps how users discover, try, convert, and stay engaged with the app
  • Develop a clear system for virality and organic amplification grounded in Gen Z behavior, trends, and platform mechanics
  • Establish the creative and messaging strategy for acquisition, including the formats, hooks, and iterative processes the team should follow
  • Identify high-impact growth opportunities, channels, and experiments that align with nectar’s unique positioning
  • Architect a UGC-driven growth pipeline, including creator sourcing, briefing systems, content formats, and testing loops that feed into paid acquisition and organic virality
  • Advise on paid acquisition strategy: audiences, creative direction, testing velocity, measurement, and scaling principles
  • Build the growth KPI model and ensure all teams are aligned to it
  • Create systems, workflows, and rituals that enable rapid testing and cross-functional clarity
  • Serve as a thought partner to nectar leadership on positioning, culture, and competitive landscape

Who You Are:

  • A senior growth strategist with a track record scaling consumer apps, ideally in dating, social, or Gen Z-focused products
  • Deeply fluent in Gen Z psychology, digital behavior, and the mechanics behind virality and cultural momentum
  • Someone who understands how to grow an app through content, not just paid
  • Strong experience building growth systems, not just running campaigns
  • Adept at translating data into creative and product decisions
  • Confident leading cross-functional teams without needing to be the one executing
  • Able to quickly diagnose gaps in acquisition, activation, retention, and messaging
  • A strategic thinker who can zoom out to define the vision and zoom in when necessary to refine the model

Work Model

  • Senior Consultant / Fractional leadership role
  • Strategy-forward, with execution handled by internal teams and external partners
  • Part-time or retainer-based, depending on scope
  • Duration flexible based on project timeline

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive Compensation  –  $100-$150 hourly rate 💰
